How do I return a unit for repair?
Fill out our RMA form and submit the form. Our service team will then contact you with an RMA number, attach the RMA form with the RMA No onto the box, pack unit into Senor original packaging or similar box with protective packaging material. Send to Senor. Please note Senor takes no responsibility for any damage caused by improperly packaged units**.
Can I fit my own spare parts?
Senor Tech requires all parts to be fitted by qualified technicians to maintain warranty status. Using unqualified technicians will void the warranty of the unit and the parts provided.
What can I use to clean the unit?
All senor units can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth and glass cleaners.
I’ve lost a cable for my unit, can I fit a new one?
Most cables in Senor units are specific cables that have been rigorously tested and conform to the highest standards. Before replacing any cable relating to your unit please call Senor to check the cable is suitable.

How do I install my TP-100 printer?
- Go to Senor Driver Support
- Select POS printer - TP-100 - Operating System
- Download the driver to a location you can find later
- Go to Start - Device Manger - Devices and Printers - Add Printer - Local Printer
- Installation will begin
How do I find my TP-100 Printers IP address?
- Make sure the Printer power switch is 'OFF'
- Push 'Paper Feed' button located on top of the printer
- While Holding 'Paper Feed' power 'ON' the printer
- Self test will now print please take note of the printers IP Address

What COM port is my USB TP-290 using?
- Note: When connected to Windows POS System via USB, the TP-290 will install/allocate a COM port for the printer. To find this COM port follow these steps
- Go to Start - Right Click Computer - Manage - Device Manger
- Ports - Please take note of USB to SERIAL (COMX)

The Network Utility Tool does not find my TP-290 Printer?
- Your TP-290 and POS System are on different Subnets or IP Ranges.
Is my TP-290 compatible with Windows 8?
No. TP-290 driver development ended prior to Windows 8 release.
You may however be able to make use of the inbuilt Windows generic printer driver. Please test to see if this is a suitable solution for you.

How do I change the language settings on the TP-290? (Supports USB & Serial only)
You may change your TP-290 default language using the Language Utility Tool
My Scanner will not scan?
- Go to Start - Right Click Computer - Manage - Device Manager - USB
- Make Sure there are no exclamation marks
- Go to Start - All Programms - Accessories - Notepad
- Ensure the cursor is blinking
- Scan Bar-codes
- Bar-codes should show in notepad. Scanner is working as it should. Please contact software vendor
I have a USB Cash Drawer but my POS software requires a COM port. How do I create a COM port?
- Go to Senor Driver Support
- Select Cash Drawer - Model - Operating System
- Download and install USB Virtual Com port
- VCOM will allocate a COM number for your USB Cash Drawer
- Go to start - Right Click Computer - Manage - Device Manager - COM
- Take note of the USB VCOM number (COM4)
My Cash Drawer will not open, why?
- Check key position
- Left - Lock / Center - Closed / Right - Manual Open
My Cash Drawer is connected to my printer but will not open?
- Go to Start - Control Panel - Devices and Printers
- Find your printer in the list - Right Click - Printer Properties
